Dairy Technology is a science and engineering field that deals with the study of milk processing and its products. The main objective of the course is to make the students well-versed with each and every detail of processing, packaging, distribution and transportation of various dairy products such as milk and ice-cream by using the science of biochemistry, bacteriology, and nutrition. The field of dairy technology basically uses “technology” to make dairy products hi-tech as well as useful.
Eligibility Criteria for BSS Diploma in Dairy Technology

The applicant must completed SSLC Examination or Plus Two or its equivalent from a recognized school board.

Higher Studies after BSS Diploma in Dairy Technology

Students who have completed two year BSS Diploma in Dairy Technology with SSLC qualification can get direct admission to the second year (third semester) and students who completed two year of BSS Diploma in Dairy Technology with plus two are eligible to get direct admission to the third year (fifth semester) of B. Voc in Dairy Technology course in Singhania University through lateral entry.
