  • Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000/-
  • Grade Pay : Rs. 8700/- (for Principal Scientist) & Rs. 8900/- (for Senior Principal Scientist)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification :
  • For Scientist/ Senior Scientist : M.E./M.Tech. in relevant discipline or B.E/B.Tech with advance diploma from ACSIR in relevant discipline and three years experience or or PhD in relevant discipline.
  • For Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist : PhD in relevant engineering discipline with 6 years experience.
  • Nationality : Indian
  • Age Limit : maximum age limit is 32 years for Scientist, 37 years for Senior Scientist, 45 years for Principal Scientist & 50 for Senior Principal Scientist.

Age Relaxation : SC/ST Candidates 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years & PWD candidates 10 years

Job Location : Kolkata (West Bengal)

Selection Process : Selection will be through interview.

Application Fee : Candidates belonging to General /OBC have to pay Rs. 100/- through Demand Draft in favour of Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute payable at Jadavpur University Branch Kolkata. No fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
