Medical Laboratory Technology program is an allied health profession that is concerned with the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of disease through the use of clinical laboratory tests. During the program these tests help candidates to learn and diagnose, detect and treat diseases. Additionally the program deals with the collecting of information's sampling, reporting, testing and documentation. Eligibility Criteria for B. Voc in Medical Laboratory Technology

• Those who completed SSLC and BSS Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology are allowed to enter laterally into the second year (3^rd semester) of B. Voc Course in Medical Laboratory Technology.

• Students who qualified plus two and BSS Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology are eligible for the lateral entry to the third year (5^th semester) of the Bvoc course.

Course Duration

• Three years for those who enter into the course generally.

• Candidates who completed BSS diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology can get the lateral entry as mentioned above.
