The Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) degree is focused on universities and colleges providing undergraduate studies which would also incorporate specific job roles and their National Occupational Standards (NOS) along with broad based general education. This would empower the graduates completing B.Voc to make a significant participation in accelerating India’s economy by gaining suitable employment, becoming entrepreneurs and creating appropriate knowledge.
Objectives of B.Voc degree courses according to UGC include:

The eligibility condition for admission to B.Voc.programme shall be 10, +2 or equivalent, in any stream. Obtaining skills through learning is a relevant aspect in today's education scenario. This course helps the individuals to grow and learn professionally.
To align higher education with the needs of the Indian economy, it is necessary to allow the youth or individuals of our country to indulge into a course that would not only enhance their knowledge in the respective field but would also provide them with the required skill and practical knowledge which help them to acquire jobs as per their requirement in the long run.
