Eligibility Criteria for B. Voc in Dialysis Technology
 

 

  • Students who completed plus two and two year of BSS Diploma course in Dialysis Technology is eligible to get direct admission to the third year of B. Voc course (5th semester)

  • Those who qualified SSLC and are two year of BSS Diploma course in Dialysis Technology  is eligible to get direct admission to the second year of B.Voc course (3rd semester)

  • Students who completed plus two and one year of BSS Certificate course in Dialysis Technology is eligible to get direct admission to the second year of B. Voc course (3rd semester)

  • Those who qualified SSLC and are one year of BSS certificate course in Dialysis Technology is eligible to get the admission.

 

Course Duration

 

 

  • Three years for those who enter into the course generally.

  • Candidates who completed BSS diploma course and certificate course after plus two and SSLC are possible to get admission through lateral entry scheme (For further reference check Eligibility criteria section)

 

Tasks of a Dialysis Technician

 

  • Assemble and Operate dialysis machine

  • Preparing sterilization mix

  • Recording vital body status of the patient such as temperature, blood pressure, age, pulse rate and weight

  • Observing the patient

  • Guiding and communicating with the patient

  • Administering anaesthesia as per requirement

  • Supervise dialysis process

  • Calculating blood flow

  • Cleaning and inspection of dialysis machine
