3- year full time undergraduate degree program, B.Sc or Bachelor of Science in Electronics, provides an insight to the fundamentals of electrical circuits such as transistors, vacuum tubes, integrated circuits and diodes. It is a 3 year course divided into 6 semesters.

B.Sc. Electronics is a field of science and technology that studies the controlled movement of electrons through various media and vacuum.

Eligibility Criteria:

For admission to the course, a student must have passed 10+2 with science stream with subjects’ physics, chemistry, and biology.

Fee Structure:

For Govt. aided colleges, the average tuition fees may range somewhere in between 10,000 INR to 20,000 INR for three years, however for private institutions, the fee may be as high as 1.5 Lakh INR.

Employment Opportunities

A graduate in this stream can opt for employment in various public and private sector companies as Service engineer, Software analyst, Senior sales manager, Electronics and Communication Consultant, etc. Pay scale though may vary, the initial salary in government organizations may vary from 10,000 INR to 32,000 INR per month and in the private sector, it may range from 3,50,000 INR to 4,00,000 INR per annum.

After successful course completion with good marks, a graduate may even go for the position of lecturer or a professor in both private as well government colleges.
