 Master of Science in Costume Design and Fashion is postgraduate Fashion and Interior Designing. Students have hands-on exposure to sewing, dyeing, printing and recent trends in fashion. The work of costume designers is part art, part fashion design, part history, and part drama. It's about capturing someone's essence, representing life in a particular time or place, and making a statement about performers that inspires fantasy and distinguishes them from the rest of us. The duration of the course is two years and it is career orienting.

 Eligibility

  • Candidate with an overall average of B Grade or equivalent (55%) marks in B.Sc. Textile Science & Apparel Design. The students with the following undergraduate degrees viz., B.Sc. Apparel Design, B.Sc. Textiles & Clothing, B.Sc. Fashion Design, B.Sc. Fashion Apparel Design, B.Sc. Composite (Home Science) are also eligible provided they complete the required prerequisites by the end of Semester II i.e. FY M.Sc.
  • Prerequisites required: Textile Testing, Textile Chemistry, Weaving (theory & practical).
