The registration process for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Engineering Services Examination (ESE) preliminary exam 2017 will end tomorrow, November 3.

As per the notice, all the candidates need to complete the registration process till 6 pm.

Further, the preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on January 8.

All the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps in order to register for the same:

• Log on to the official website, upsconline.nic.in

• Click on relevant link

• Applicants, who are submitting multiple applications, should note that only the applications with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the commission

• Fill in all the details in prescribed format

• Candidate should carefully decide about his/her choice for the centre and engineering

• Click to submit

The examination is conducted to fill up 440 vacancies in different engineering disciplines.

For these posts, all the candidates who possess a Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised university/institute can apply.

Examination schedule:

Stage-I: Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for the Stage-II: Engineering Services (Mains/Stage-II) Examination

Stage-II: Engineering Services (Mains/Stage-II) Examination (Conventional Type Papers)  

Stage-III: Personality Test
