Masters in Wildlife Science

Masters in Wildlife Science is a postgraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Wildlife Science is the study that not only seeks to meet the increasing demand for research and monitoring of wildlife and their habitats, and provide trained biologists to further the cause of wildlife conservation, but also served as a model for developing higher education elsewhere in the country. The duration of the program is mostly of two academic years but it varies from institute to institute. The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun is providing in two years. The minimum time to complete the course is also two years.

How is Masters in Wildlife Science Course Beneficial?

Candidates are free to join as entomologists, foresters or dendrologists and a lot more in this series. They can also go for the fields of silvi-culture or as forest range officers or as zoo curators. They also can also go for education sector for further research work or to enhance their educational qualification.

 Eligibility

  • The candidates should complete their B.Sc. degree under any registered University in the following subjects like Veterinary, Forestry, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences in Science stream.
