Master of Technology in Textile Technology is a postgraduate Textile Engineering course. Textile Technology enables you to develop a high level of understanding of modern textile technology. program unit provides a wide range of topics in the latest developments of technical textiles, including: Composites and geo textiles, Automotive Textiles, impact protection and woven performs, Technical clothing, sportswear, sensors and applications in textiles, Nanotechnology and specialty fibres, Fibre Mechanics and Fracture, Medical textiles, military textiles, aerospace applications, marine applications, and filtration. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters that is career orienting in nature.

How is M.Tech. Textile Technology Course Beneficial?

  • They can have jobs in the fashion and textile industries, including product developers, textile technologists, technical managers, research and development managers and quality control managers.
  • Textile technology degree is beneficial to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed for a professional career in the fashion and textile industries, including sportswear and performance apparel, interior textiles, automotive textiles and advanced technical materials.
  • The course also helps for further studies such as M.Phil., Ph.D. etc. as it gives good base for it.
  • They can also become lecturer in colleges/universities after passing UGC-NET exam.

  • B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

M.Tech. Textile Technology Course Suitability
