M.A. Applied Yoga and Health

Master of Arts in Applied Yoga and Health is a postgraduate Yoga course. Yoga originating in ancient India is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline aiming at the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquillity while meditating on Super soul. Second, health is the level of functional or metabolic efficiency of a living being. During the course the basics of Yoga, fundamentals of psychology, food and meal, therapies, health Yogas and the like areas of both the components are to be covered.   M.A. (Applied Yoga and Health) is of two years duration course and the syllabus is divided into four semesters.

How is M.A. Applied Yoga and Health Course Beneficial?

  • The foremost benefit of this is as a whole in various body parts. It keeps us away from disease and providing a forewarning at the first possible instance of a likely onset of disease or disorder.
  • The demand of Indian Yogic system is getting importance day by day in the world; so degree holders have bright opportunities both here in India and outside.

 Eligibility

  • Candidates should have passed Bachelors Degree from any university following 10+2+3 course pattern with at least 50% marks. Ability to communicate in English is essential.
