BSS Diploma in Fire & Safety Methods is a diploma in Industrial Engineering course. Fire and safety covers the study of simulated firefighting exercise along with applied physics, chemistry and mathematics. B.Sc ( Fire & Safety ) degree course also includes a detailed study of subjects like town planning, disaster mitigation, hydraulics, fire communication systems and salvage investigation. It involves study of subjects that deals with the designing of safer fire resistant equipments and plants, in depth understanding of Science of Fire, its hazards and control measures, etc. The duration of the course is three years and the course open many job scopes after its completion.
