Punjab Police Recruitment eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria Limit : 

Candidates must be between 18- 28 years as on 1st January, 2016. Age relaxation are applicable i.e 05 years for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes and 03 years for Ex-Serviceman.

Education Qualification Requirements:

Candidate must have passed 10+2 class with Physics as one of regular subjects with minimum six months basic computer course (at least 200 hours) from recognized institute /10+2 class with Physics as one of regular subjects and B.Sc. (I.T.)/ BCA from a recognized University /Matriculation passed and Three years Diploma in Computer Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering for Sl.No.1 Posts,For all other remaining posts refer the punjab police recruitment notification link given below.

Physical Standards Requirements:
Male - 5’ 5” (5 feet 5 inches)
Female - 5’ 1” (5 feet 1 inches)
Selection Process : 

Candidates are get selected based on Preliminary Medical Test / Drug test / Dope test, Physical Efficiency test, Physical Measurement and Written test (Computer-based / OMR sheet based).

Pay Scale/Salary : 

Selected candidates will get pay monthly emoluments of Rs. 10300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3200/- and other allowances

Application Fee : 

Candidates need to pay fee of Rs. 100/- (SC/ST/BC) For General category ,Wards of Punjab Police Personnel and wards of Freedom Fighters have to pay Rs.400 . Fee can be pay either online by using Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card or Offline through Fee Challan Form at HDFC Bank/ Punjab Police Saanjh Kendras
