Etihad Airways is currently seeking a proven Senior Internal Communications Manager to join their Corporate Communications division.

Educational Qualification: A minimum of ten years Press Office/PR Agency/journalism/event management experience is required, ideally with an aviation/aerospace background, of which five years’ experience has ideally been gained in a PR management capacity at an international company.

Job Description:

• To work closely with HR and all areas of the business on consistent messaging, breaking down silos and ensuring the airline’s strategy is understood while driving up levels of staff engagement
• To work closely with members of the airline’s partners to ensure consistent messaging and high quality communications within the equity alliance structure and a coordinated approach to communications.
• To work closely with the airline’s range of wholly- and part-owned subsidiaries and other partners to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality coordinated communications.
• To maximize the use of new and efficient technology, including social media, and stay properly updated on current technologies, techniques and trends and their role in internal communications
• Devising ways to keep workers up to date about company matters.
• Play an instrumental role in supporting senior business leaders, providing bespoke communications support and advice as required.
• Examine, refine and enhance all Etihad internal communications publications.
• Manage overall production of materials including Etihad News and PCEO presentations.
• Interpret corporate internal communications strategies into local plans, ensuring the content is tailored to audience requirements.
• Manage internal communications campaigns ahead of corporate announcements or forthcoming events, providing strategic communications advice.
• Act as a senior communications adviser in Emergency Control Centre during major incidents if required. Support the delivery of quarterly staff roadshows and the annual worldwide staff conference.
