Bachelor of Arts in English is an undergraduate English language course. It is designed to prepare students to understand and use the English language effectively, build vocabulary and introduce them to current ideas and issues. During the course the emphasis is also given on Indian writing and the syllabus may see the consolidation of a vision predicated on promoting Indian culture obviously through its literary manifestations. This is the case in all genres of writing: novel, drama, poetry, non-fictional prose. Bachelor of Arts in English is meant for students who wish to do some specialized course in English. Eligibility
