Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science is an undergraduate computer science course. Generally Computer Science degree focuses on mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing, rather than teaching specific technologies. This degree itself is a Bachelor of Science with institutions conferring degrees in the fields of information technology and related fields. This degree is given for completing a program of study in the field of software development, software testing, software engineering, computer networking, web design, databases, and programming.  The computer science or computing science is the same comprising the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and of practical techniques for their implementation and application in computer systems. Computer scientists invent algorithmic processes that create, describe, and transform information and formulate suitable abstractions to model complex systems. The duration of the course is three years.
