Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy is an undergraduate Philosophy course. Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. The Bachelor of Philosophy programme helps students develop critical thinking skills, linguistic ability and the ability to defend a reasoned point of view. Students also learn to critique world-views and come to their own ideas on what is true and how to live. B.A. is generally three academic year degree course and it may be provided on part time basis by certain institutes. The B.A. (Philosophy) programme is offered online via distance learning as well.

  • This degree course enables the students to go for various Philosophy language and other related jobs such as advertising, marketing and public relations agencies, investment banks, law firms, charities, publishing firms, recruitment agencies.

 Eligibility

  • Minimum requirement is 12th or its equivalent exam in Arts stream from a recognised school board in the country.
