Office of the Registrar General, High Court of Judicature at Bombay and its Benches at Nagpur and Aurangabad invites applications from eligible candidates for 100 Law clerk vacancies. Last date for receipt of duly filled application is 30th September 2016.

Name of the post: Law Clerk

Number of posts: 100 (20- wait list)

Age Limit: 21-30 years

Pay Scale: 20,000 per month as Stipend / Honorarium for the assignment, or such amount as may be prescribed from time to time by the Government.

Educational Qualification:

A candidate must possess either of the following qualification:

1. Fresh Law Graduate who have passed the final L.L.B. examination in the first attempt with minimum 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University/Board.
2. Post Graduate Degree in Law from a recognized University/Board.

“The High Court may give preference to candidates with a Post Graduate Degree in Law. “

Desired Qualification: A candidate must have basic knowledge of Computers/ Laptop and softwares relating to case laws.

Selection Process:

1. Candidates recommended by the Principals of Law Colleges or Presidents of Bar Associations, will have to appear for a personal interview in the High Court, Bombay at their own expense on the date and time notified.
2. Selection shall be on the basis of merit.
3. The list of selected candidates shall be subjected to the approval of the Honorable Chief Justice.

 till 5.00 p.m. by Speed Post/ R.P A. D./ Hand delivery/ Courier. The cover containing the application shall be super scribed as: "Application for Appointment of Law Clerk".
