CISF Constable Driver Job Duties & Responsibilities

As a CISF Constable Driver, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth transportation of personnel, equipment, and essential resources. Below are the key duties and responsibilities:

1. Driving Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy motor vehicles (HMV) such as trucks, buses, jeeps, and other official vehicles.

3. Maintenance & Vehicle Upkeep

  • Regularly check the condition of the vehicle (fuel, brakes, engine, tires, etc.).

  • Maintain vehicle logs, fuel consumption records, and service reports.

4. Emergency & Crisis Response

  • Be ready for quick deployment during emergencies, VIP security, or natural disasters.
  • Assist in firefighting duties if deployed as a Driver-cum-Pump Operator in fire rescue operations.
  • Support evacuation operations in case of accidents or threats.

5. Law & Order Assistance

  • Help in crowd control and security operations during large public gatherings.
  • Transport suspects, detainees, or seized materials if required.

6. Communication & Reporting

  • Stay in contact with senior officers via radio or communication devices while on duty.

7. Any Other Duties Assigned

1. Driving & Transportation Duties

2. Fire-Fighting Operations
