to fill a total of 400 engineer and supervisor trainee posts.

who are more than 18 years old and less than 27 years old can

BHEL Engineer Trainee Interview Process
The interview process is conducted for those who qualify the CBT.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their exam performance,
and the interview will focus on assessing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Merit-Based Interview: Candidates are selected in a 1:7 ratio (per vacancy) based on the CBT performance.
- Relaxation for Physically Challenged Candidates: Physically challenged candidates will receive a relaxation of up to 25% below the cutoff marks for eligibility in the interview.
Final Selection:
The final selection will be based on a combined merit list.
The weightage for the exam is 75%, while the interview carries 25% weightage.
BHEL Engineer Trainee Salary and Job Profile 2025: Pay Scale & Career Growth
The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) decides the BHEL Engineer
Trainee Salary for the post as per the rules and norms of the Government.
The BHEL salary for Engineering Trainee is based on the 7th Pay Commission which includes grade pay,
basic pay, and a pay band. The candidates qualified for the BHEL
engineering trainee post shall avail of benefits and allowances once
they finish the probation period on the Organization.
- The BHEL Engineer Trainee basic pay during the training period will be Rs 50,000/-. After completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Engineers/Executives on the scale of pay of Rs 60,000-1,80,000/- with basic pay of Rs 60,000/-.
- The Training/probation period for the candidates who get selected for the BHEL Engineer Trainee Job Profile will be 2 years.
