  4. Consumer Safety & Awareness

  5. Legal & Administrative Work

    • Prepare reports on food safety violations.
    • Assist in legal proceedings against offenders in court.
  6. Coordination with Government Departments

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: A degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Age Limit: Usually 21–40 years (Age relaxations for reserved categories as per government rules).

    A Range Forest Officer (RFO) is a gazetted officer responsible for managing and protecting forest areas within their designated range. They play a crucial role in wildlife conservation, forest management, and implementing environmental laws.

  • Forest Protection & Law Enforcement

    • Prevent illegal logging, poaching, and encroachments
