​ESIC Recruitment 2025 Age Limit

• Age Limit for Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 Years
• Age Limit for Teaching Faculty: Not Exceeding 69 Years

​Qualification

• As per National Commission NMC (MCI) guidelines.

1. Teaching Faculty (Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors)

 Role & Responsibilities

Teaching faculty in ESIC Medical Colleges primarily handle:

• Teaching & Training: Delivering lectures, clinical training, and hands-on guidance to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate students.
• Clinical Duties: Providing patient care in attached ESIC Hospitals.
• Research: Conducting research projects, publishing papers, and guiding research scholars.
• Administrative Work: Department management, curriculum design, academic audits, and coordinating with regulatory bodies like NMC (National Medical Commission).

Qualifications

• As per NMC norms: MBBS + Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DM/M.Ch) in relevant specialty.
• Teaching experience is mandatory for higher positions (Professor/Associate Professor).

Selection Process

• Walk-in Interviews.
• Evaluation of Academic & Research credentials.
• Teaching demonstration (sometimes).

 Salary

• Based on 7th CPC guidelines.
• May vary slightly depending on region and college (some are direct ESIC institutions, some are autonomous).

2. Senior Residents (SR)

Role & Responsibilities

Senior Residents are responsible for:

• Clinical Care: Working as full-time doctors in respective departments.
• Patient Management: OPD, IPD, emergency duties.
• Teaching Assistance: Helping junior doctors and students in clinical learning.
• Administrative Tasks: Documentation, reporting, and coordination with faculty.

Qualifications

• MBBS + Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in relevant specialty.
• In some cases, MBBS with 2 years experience in the relevant specialty is accepted.

 Selection Process

• Walk-in Interviews (most common).
• Document verification.
• Academic and professional track record assessment.

Tenure

• Usually 1 year (can be extended to 3 years) based on performance and vacancy.

 Salary

• Approx ₹67,700/- per month (Level 11 - Pay Matrix) + NPA + Other allowances as per rules.
