Qualification

The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) recruits Fisheries Officers to manage and conserve aquatic resources within the state. While specific responsibilities may vary, Fisheries Officers generally undertake the following duties:

Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced recruitment for Junior Inspector and Gujarati Stenographer posts in 2025. Following are the eligibility criteria for these posts:

Junior Inspector

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics, or a Degree in Science with Physics. Enough knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both languages is required.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on 19th December 2025, Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Gujarati Stenographer

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, as well as certification in stenography and typing in both Gujarati and English. Basic computer proficiency is required.
• Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 20 to 40 years as on 19 December 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.
