​RWF Apprentices Notification 2025 Age Limit

• Minimum Age Limit: 15 Years
• Maximum Age limit: 24 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Qualification

• Candidates Should Posses 10th Class, NTC/ NCVT.
• The candidates willing to undergo training under the Apprentices' Act, 1961, in this Factory, must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks, from recognized Boards, as on the date of issue of Notification and also possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the designated trade in which this administration is imparting training, issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Qualification

During their period of apprenticeship training in this Factory, the candidates undergoing training in the trades of Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic will be paid a stipend of Rs.12,261/- per month, while for CNC Programming-cum-Operator, a stipend of Rs.10,899/- per month, will be paid as per extant rules amended from time to time.

Mode of Selection

• The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of merit list prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in 10* Std/Matriculation or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• For the purpose of calculation of percentage of marks obtained in 10th Std/Matriculation or its equivalent marks obtained by the candidates in all the subjects as indicated in the said marks sheet, will be reckoned and not on the basis of marks of any subject or a group of subjects.

Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), located in Yelahanka, Bangalore, has announced a recruitment drive for 192 Apprentice positions across various trades. The apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on training and experience in specific trades, preparing candidates for future roles in the industry. 1. Fitter (85 Posts):

• Responsibilities: Fitters are responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. They ensure that all components are correctly fitted and in optimal working condition.

2. Machinist (31 Posts):

• Responsibilities: Machinists operate machine tools to produce precision metal parts. They read blueprints, set up machines, and ensure products meet specified tolerances.

3. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (8 Posts):

• Responsibilities: These mechanics inspect, repair, and maintain motor vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

4. Turner (5 Posts):

• Responsibilities: Turners shape metal components on lathes, producing parts like shafts and bolts with precise dimensions.

5. CNC Programming cum Operator (COE Group) (23 Posts):

• Responsibilities: Professionals in this role develop and run CNC programs to automate machining processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

6. Electrician (18 Posts):

• Responsibilities: Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

7. Electronic Mechanic (22 Posts):

• Responsibilities: Electronic mechanics focus on assembling, testing, and repairing electronic equipment and systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, they should possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

Age Limit (as of 01 March 2025):

• Minimum: 15 years
• Maximum: 24 years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government norms.
