Qualification

  • The incumbent should have retired from Police services on or after 01.07.2023 from the state of Odisha in the rank of Dy SP to DIG or equivalent in the Central and state Governments.
  • Incumbent should have a clean service record and fitness of high order. Preference will be given to candidates having legal background, experience of working in intelligence / crime control / petroleum sector/pipeline industry.

Remuneration

  • A consolidated lump-sum monthly remuneration/contract fee of Rs.60,000/-shall be paid. Increment may be given @ 3% per annum as per performance. In case of re-engagement last drawn pay may be protected.

Job Role of IOCL Security Chief

The Security Chief is responsible for managing and overseeing security operations to protect IOCL assets, personnel, and infrastructure. Key duties include:

Key Responsibilities

1. Security Management & Supervision

 Ensure security of pipelines, terminals, refineries, depots, and installations.
 Monitor and supervise security personnel (guards and officers).
 Implement security policies & risk mitigation strategies.
 Identify potential security threats and take preventive measures.

2.Coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies

 Act as the liaison officer between IOCL and local police, intelligence agencies, and paramilitary forces.
 Seek assistance from law enforcement for handling security breaches and threats.
 Ensure quick response to theft, vandalism, or sabotage cases.

3. Threat Analysis & Intelligence Gathering

 Conduct risk assessment and security audits of IOCL facilities.
 Gather intelligence reports to detect potential security threats.
 Report and advise IOCL management on security vulnerabilities.

4. Crisis Management & Emergency Response

 Formulate emergency response plans for security breaches.
 Lead investigations into security incidents.
 Train IOCL staff in security awareness and crisis management.

5. Training & Awareness Programs

 Conduct security drills and training for IOCL employees.
 Ensure strict compliance with security guidelines and protocols.

 Required Skills & Experience
