Job Roles & Responsibilities

IREL (India) Limited recruits apprentices in various disciplines under its apprenticeship program. Below are the job roles and their respective responsibilities:

1. Trade Apprentices (ITI Holders)

Fitter

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling, installing, and repairing machinery.
  • Performing maintenance on mechanical systems.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Operating workshop tools like drills, grinders, and welding machines.

Electrician

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting electrical faults in machines and circuits.
  • Handling wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers.
  • Ensuring safety compliance in electrical work.

Welder

Responsibilities:

  • Performing welding operations using gas and electric welding techniques.

1. For Trade Apprentices (ITI Holders)

To apply for Trade Apprentice roles, candidates must complete ITI (Industrial Training Institute) courses from NCVT/SCVT-recognized institutes. Some reputed ITI institutes include:
