The Bank of India's Apprentice Recruitment 2025 offers 400 positions across various states, including Kerala.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

As an apprentice at the Bank of India, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in Daily Banking Operations: Supporting branch staff with tasks such as cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and account-related inquiries. You may also assist in loan documentation and approvals under supervision.

• Customer Service and Support: Guiding customers through account opening procedures, Know Your Customer (KYC) updates, and explaining bank policies. Additionally, you'll help customers navigate digital banking platforms, including UPI payments and mobile banking services.

It's important to note that this apprenticeship is a training opportunity under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and does not equate to permanent employment with the bank. Apprentices are considered trainees and are not entitled to employee benefits available to regular or contractual staff.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxations apply as per government norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

• Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Selection Process:

The selection process comprises:

1. Online Written Test: This assessment covers General/Financial Awareness, English Language, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. Each section consists of 25 questions, totaling 100 marks, with a duration of 90 minutes.

2. Test of Local Language: Candidates who haven't studied the local language in their 10th or 12th grade will undergo a proficiency test to ensure effective communication with local customers.

Application Process:

Interested candidates should register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. The application window is open from March 1, 2025, to March 15, 2025.
