As a Junior Assistant in the Fire Service, your primary duties include:​

• Emergency Response: Rapidly responding to aircraft emergencies within the operational area or in proximity to the airport. ​

• Firefighting and Rescue Operations: Engaging in firefighting activities and executing rescue operations during incidents involving aircraft or airport facilities.​

• Maintenance of Firefighting Equipment: Regular inspection and upkeep of firefighting apparatus to ensure readiness and compliance with safety standards.​

• Safety Drills and Training: Participating in routine safety drills and continuous training programs to stay updated on firefighting techniques and emergency protocols.​

• Compliance with Safety Regulations: Adhering to established safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure environment for passengers and staff.​

Salary Structure:

The pay scale for the Junior Assistant position ranges from ₹31,000 to ₹92,000, as per the 7th Pay Commission. In addition to the basic salary, employees are entitled to various allowances and benefits as per AAI norms.
