Job Role: Senior Works Engineer
The Senior Works Engineer in IRCON (Indian Railway Construction Company Limited) is responsible for overseeing construction, project execution, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards in railway and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Execution
- Supervise and manage railway, highway, bridge, and infrastructure construction projects.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects as per schedule.
- Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and cost control.
2. Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Inspect construction materials, workmanship, and site safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, designs, and quality specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality and safety compliance.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project teams.
- Liaise with government authorities, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare progress reports and technical documentation.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Indian Railway standards, government regulations, and environmental policies.
- Implement safety measures at project sites to prevent accidents.
5. Technical Support & Problem-Solving
