Department:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Practical Teaching of Bharatanatyam
- Conduct daily classes for diploma and post-diploma students in Bharatanatyam.
- Teach both practical and theoretical components (Adavus, Jatis, Alarippu to Varnam and Padams, etc.).

- Syllabus & Curriculum Development
- Participate in designing and updating Bharatanatyam syllabi in accordance with traditional pedagogy.

1. Teaching – Vocal Music
- Conduct regular classes in Carnatic Vocal Music for diploma and post-diploma students.
- Teach fundamental and advanced lessons including:
- Sarali, Janta, and Alankara exercises
- Geetams, Varnams, Kritis, and Ragam-Tanam-Pallavi
- Train students in voice culture, gamakas, tala structures, and manodharma (improvisation).
- Introduce theory and history of Carnatic music (ragas, talas, composers, etc.).
2. Classical Repertoire Training
