Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and managing client relationships across the capital markets and investment banking domain. The role requires a deep understanding of financial products, a strong client network, and the ability to generate strategic opportunities for BOBCAPS.

 Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and onboard new clients (corporate, institutional, or high-net-worth).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and tailor BOBCAPS offerings accordingly.

2. Business Growth & Strategy Execution

  • Contribute to revenue targets by promoting BOBCAPS services such as:
    • Equity & Debt Capital Markets (ECM/DCM)
    • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
    • Wealth & Portfolio Management
  • Execute strategic business development initiatives in line with corporate goals.

3. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest actionable insights.

4. Collaboration & Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with research, trading, investment banking, and compliance teams.
  • Prepare and present client proposals, pitchbooks, and financial models as needed.

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain updated sales pipeline and CRM records.
  • Ensure all regulatory, legal, and compliance standards are adhered to in client dealings.
    Qualifications & Skills:
  • MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or related field (from reputed institute preferred).
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in capital markets, wealth management, or corporate finance.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven sales and negotiation ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of SEBI regulations and financial products is a plus.
