 Job Role & Responsibilities of HPSC PGTs

As an HPSC PGT, your primary duties include:​

• Subject Instruction: Deliver comprehensive lessons tailored to the curriculum and students' learning needs. ​

• Remedial Teaching: Conduct additional classes for students requiring extra assistance. ​

• Assessment Design: Create and administer examinations and projects to evaluate and enhance student understanding and creativity. ​

• Student Mentorship: Guide and prepare students for various academic competitions and examinations. ​

• Academic Evaluation: Timely correction and grading of answer sheets to provide feedback on student performance. 

• Curriculum Development: Develop, update, and maintain lesson plans and learning modules. 

• Administrative Duties: Fulfill responsibilities assigned by school authorities, contributing to the institution's overall functioning. ​

  HPSC PGTs are compensated as per the 7th Pay Commission, with a salary range of ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100. ​
