1. Credit Appraisal & Loan Processing
- Analyze credit proposals submitted by retail, MSME, or corporate clients.
- Assess financial documents like balance sheets, income tax returns, and bank statements.
- Calculate risk ratings and recommend loan limits based on bank policies.
2. Customer Interaction
- Interact with clients to understand their financial needs and suggest appropriate credit products.
- Assist in documentation and ensure compliance with KYC, CIBIL, and due diligence requirements.
3. Documentation & Verification
- Ensure that all loan documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Conduct background checks and field verification when needed.
4. Portfolio Management
- Monitor disbursed loans to track repayment, identify early warning signals, and prevent NPAs.
- Help manage stressed assets and suggest recovery measures where required.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines and Union Bank’s credit policy.
- Maintain proper records for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare periodic reports on loan performance and portfolio health.
- Coordinate with other departments like Legal, Risk, and Recovery for end-to-end credit processing.
7. Training & Development (as a new recruit)
