General Responsibilities:

1. Security and Protection Duties

   • Guarding sensitive government installations like airports, nuclear plants, space centers, etc.

   • Access control and checking of individuals and vehicles entering premises.

2. Law and Order Maintenance

   • Assisting in maintaining internal security and public order.

   • Crowd control during public gatherings, rallies, or emergencies.

3. Supervision and Coordination

   • Supervising constables and coordinating daily patrols or post duties.

   • Reporting incidents to senior officers and maintaining communication channels.

4. Documentation and Reporting

   • Preparing and maintaining duty rosters and daily occurrence books.

   • Drafting incident reports and maintaining shift logs.

5. Discipline and Training

   • Assisting in training of junior personnel.

   • Ensuring discipline, alertness, and code of conduct among the team.

Head Constable (Ministerial) – Additional Responsibilities:

• Clerical duties: handling files, correspondence, and data entry.

• Record keeping related to personnel, logistics, or legal documentation.

• Typing and administrative assistance in CISF offices.

Head Constable (Communication) – Additional Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of communication systems (radio, wireless).
