Job Role: Clerk at JSBL

 Key Responsibilities

As a Clerk at JSBL, your duties will encompass:

  • Customer Service: Assisting customers with transactions such as account openings, loan applications, and resolving inquiries.

  • Data Entry & Record Maintenance: Updating customer records, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate documentation.

  • Cash Handling: Managing daily cash transactions, maintaining cash drawers, and ensuring accurate cash flow records.

  • Product Promotion: Informing customers about banking products and services, and facilitating sales of items like money orders and foreign currency.

  • Compliance & Verification: Verifying customer information for KYC compliance and assisting in backend tasks like cross-verifying transaction details. 


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Clerk position, candidates must:

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Hold a First Class Graduate degree in any discipline, or

    • Be a Graduate in Banking and/or Insurance, or

    • Possess a Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks at the graduation level, or

    • Be a Graduate with 3 years of experience in banking.

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Obtain MS-CIT or an equivalent certification before joining or within 6 months post-joining.

  • Age Limit:

    • Maximum age of 30 years as of 01/04/2025. Age relaxations apply as per government guidelines.
