According to the National Health Mission guidelines, the responsibilities of an Asha Volunteer include:

Health Education & Promotion: Educate the community on health, nutrition, sanitation, and family planning.

• Facilitating Healthcare Access: Assist individuals in accessing healthcare services, including immunizations, antenatal and postnatal care, and institutional deliveries.

• Community Mobilization: Encourage community participation in health programs and initiatives.
