Job Role: Site Engineer (Civil) – NPCC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Supervision

  • Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications, drawings, and construction quality standards.
  • Assist in the execution of civil works like RCC structures, roads, buildings, bridges, water supply projects, etc.

2. Site Management

  • Monitor site progress, resource deployment, labor, and material usage.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain safety standards and resolve on-site issues promptly.

3. Technical Support

  • Interpret civil engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Support in the preparation of bar bending schedules, quantity estimations, and material reconciliations.
  • Assist senior engineers or project managers in technical decision-making.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily progress reports, measurement books, and quality control logs.
  • Prepare site inspection reports and compliance documents.
  • Keep accurate records of site activities for billing and audit purposes.

5. Quality Assurance

  • Ensure quality control of construction materials (like cement, aggregates, steel).
  • Conduct tests (like slump tests, cube tests) or coordinate with labs.
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes and NPCC/QC standards.

6. Coordination with Stakeholders

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, government officials, and contractors.
  • Report project updates and escalate major issues to the project manager or zonal office.

Job Role: Site Engineer (Electrical) – NPCC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Project Execution

  • Supervise electrical installation works on-site (lighting, cabling, panels, earthing, transformers, etc.).
  • Ensure execution is as per electrical drawings, standards, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams for integrated project execution.

2. Site Supervision & Coordination

  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and workers for electrical work.
  • Monitor daily progress and resource deployment.
  • Ensure safety protocols and electrical work procedures are followed on-site.

3. Material & Equipment Management

  • Inspect and verify the quality of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of electrical tools, cables, and devices used.
  • Raise material requests and ensure timely availability of supplies.

4. Testing, Commissioning & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct or supervise electrical testing (e.g., insulation resistance test, earth resistance test, etc.).
  • Ensure proper commissioning of electrical systems as per norms (IS/IEC standards).
  • Maintain quality control at every stage and resolve any site-level technical issues.

5. Technical Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily progress reports, measurement books (MB), and inspection checklists.
  • Document testing results and commissioning certificates.
  • Support in preparing bills and work completion certificates.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with CEA (Central Electricity Authority) regulations and electrical safety standards.
  • Implement and monitor grounding, lightning protection, and overload protection systems.

7. Client & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Coordinate with consultants, third-party inspectors, and client engineers.
  • Participate in review meetings, inspections, and audits.

Job Role: Sr. Associate (Office Support) – HR

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Documentation & Record-Keeping

  • Maintain employee records including personal files, leave records, joining/exit formalities, and service books.
  • Prepare and update databases of employees, contracts, attendance, and performance records.
  • Ensure filing of hard copies and digital storage of important HR documents.

2. Recruitment Support

  • Assist in the recruitment process: job postings, resume shortlisting coordination, scheduling interviews, and documentation for selected candidates.
  • Handle joining formalities and background verification process.

3. Payroll & Leave Management

  • Collect and consolidate attendance/leave data for salary processing.
  • Assist in the preparation and verification of salary sheets and statutory compliance documents (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
  • Manage leave applications and maintain leave registers.

4. Office Administrative Tasks

  • Handle internal communication and official correspondence related to HR matters.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions, office meetings, and HR-related workshops.
  • Coordinate with other departments for HR-related documentation or queries.

5. Employee Support Services

  • Respond to employee queries on HR policies, pay slips, leave balance, etc.
  • Support in handling grievance documentation and coordination.

6. Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with NPCC’s internal HR policies and government regulations.
  • Prepare reports related to manpower, attendance, contract renewals, and HR audits.

Job Role: Sr. Associate (Office Support) – Law – NPCC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Documentation & Drafting

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents including contracts, MoUs, notices, affidavits, and agreements.
  • Help maintain and update legal records, case files, and contract databases.

2. Litigation Support

  • Coordinate with external advocates and law firms handling NPCC’s litigation.
  • Maintain records of court cases, hearing dates, and case status updates.
  • Follow up with legal counsel and departments for case updates and documentation.

3. Legal Compliance

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to NPCC (Labor Laws, Contract Act, Arbitration, etc.).
  • Monitor legal obligations and notify concerned departments of deadlines or changes.

4. RTI & Legal Correspondence

  • Draft replies to RTI (Right to Information) queries and legal notices.
  • Prepare legal correspondence for internal departments and government authorities.

5. Contract Management

  • Assist in checking legal clauses in tenders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Support the legal team in ensuring proper risk mitigation in contract terms.

6. Administrative & Office Support

  • Help manage departmental paperwork and assist in preparing legal reports and presentations.
  • Perform general office duties like filing, copying, data entry, and scheduling meetings or hearings.

Job Role: Sr. Associate (Office Support) – Finance – NPCC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Support

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting functions including data entry in Tally or other ERP software.
  • Maintain general ledger entries, voucher preparation, and journal entries.
  • Support reconciliation of bank statements, vendor accounts, and advances.

2. Billing & Invoicing

  • Prepare bills, invoices, debit/credit notes, and follow up for collections.
  • Assist in project-wise billing and recording of expenses as per guidelines.

3. Financial Record Maintenance

  • Maintain proper documentation of receipts, payments, vouchers, and supporting documents.
  • Organize files for audits and financial reviews.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of TDS, GST, and other statutory returns.
  • Help ensure compliance with government tax regulations and NPCC’s internal financial policies.

5. Audit & Reporting Support

  • Support in internal and external audits by compiling necessary data and documents.
  • Help in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

6. Project Financial Coordination

  • Assist in monitoring financial progress of projects and maintaining cost control registers.
  • Coordinate with site finance teams and zonal offices for fund allocation and usage tracking.

7. Administrative Tasks

  • Handle correspondence, file financial documents, and perform basic office support duties like photocopying, scanning, or data entry.
