The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Fellow in 2025. This opportunity is part of a research project titled “Development and Deployment of Reliable, Robust and Cost-Effective Positioning Solution within Indian Cities,” funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. 

 Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow at MANIT Bhopal, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Research & Development: Engage in the design, development, and deployment of positioning solutions tailored for urban environments.

• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data pertinent to the project's objectives, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Principal Investigator and other team members to achieve project milestones.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports documenting research findings, methodologies, and progress updates.

• Dissemination: Assist in publishing research outcomes in reputable journals and presenting findings at conferences.

 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant field.

• Age Limit: Applicants should be below 35 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable as per MANIT Bhopal norms. 

 Fellowship Details

• Duration: The position is for a period of three years, with an initial appointment of one year, extendable based on performance.

• Stipend: A consolidated fellowship of ₹20,000 per month will be provided.
