Qualification

  • Candidates Should Posses B.Sc, Diploma, ITI Pass (Relevant Fields)

Junior Officer (Trainee) – Technical Disciplines

These roles are available in departments such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, Geology & Quality Control (G&QC), and Survey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in general administration and official tasks as directed by senior authorities.

  • Perform clerical duties, including maintenance of files and important documents.

  • Handle emails, correspondence, and related communications.

  • Manage weekly inventories and monitor stock levels.

  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment.

Training & Compensation:

  • Degree Holders: 12-month training period with a stipend of ₹37,000/month.

  • Diploma Holders: 18-month training period with stipends of ₹37,000/month for the first 12 months and ₹38,000/month for the remaining 6 months.

  • Post-training, the pay scale ranges from ₹37,000 to ₹1,30,000/month, along with benefits like housing, medical coverage, pension, and insurance. 

 Workmen Cadre – BIOM Kirandul & Bacheli Complexes

As per Employment Notification No. 03/2025 dated 22.05.2025, NMDC is recruiting for various posts in the Workmen cadre for its BIOM Kirandul and Bacheli Complexes. 

Key Roles:

  • Mechanical Maintenance: Involves maintenance of Steel Melting Shop (SMS) equipment, including BOF/LRF/EAF routes, material handling systems, and hydraulics.

  • Electrical Maintenance: Focuses on electrical and automation maintenance of SMS, including EOT cranes and BOF/EAF routes.

  • Operations: Roles in Converter Shop, Ladle Furnace, RH-Degasser, Hot Metal handling, and Blower operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment.

  • Ensure smooth operation of SMS processes, including tapping, ladle furnace operations, and degassing.

  • Manage spares planning and maintenance scheduling.

  • Operate and maintain water treatment plants and gas cleaning systems. 

 Administrative Officer (Trainee)

NMDC has also advertised vacancies for Administrative Officer Trainees. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in administrative functions across various departments.

  • Manage documentation, correspondence, and office records.

  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth administrative operations.
