Job Role and Responsibilities
The Company Secretary will serve as both the Company Secretary of the Bank and the Secretary to the Board. Key responsibilities include:

Board Governance and Compliance: Ensuring the bank's compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and implementing decisions made by the Board of Directors.

Investor Relations and Merchant Banking Support: Providing professional guidance to the Investor Relations Cell and the Merchant Banking Division, aiding in effective communication with stakeholders and regulatory bodies

Regulatory Filings and Disclosures: Overseeing the preparation and submission of necessary filings and disclosures to regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Advisory Role: Advising the Board and senior management on corporate governance matters, legal compliance, and best practices.

Record Keeping: Maintaining and updating statutory registers and records as required under applicable laws.
Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must be qualified Company Secretaries (CS) and may also hold qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or be members of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) .

Experience: Significant experience in corporate governance, compliance, and secretarial functions is expected, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
