Job Role: Deputy Director General (DDG), NITI Aayog

The Deputy Director General is a senior-level executive position in NITI Aayog, responsible for strategic planning, policy formulation, inter-ministerial coordination, and implementation monitoring of key national initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy Formulation and Strategic Planning:
   • Lead the development of national-level policy frameworks in collaboration with central ministries, state governments, and subject-matter experts.
   • Provide strategic direction in areas such as economy, infrastructure, sustainable development, innovation, and social welfare.
2. Inter-ministerial Coordination:
   • Coordinate between various ministries, departments, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and synchronized policy implementation.
   • Represent NITI Aayog in inter-departmental and inter-governmental meetings and committees.
3. Program Monitoring and Evaluation:
   • Oversee implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of flagship government programs and schemes.
