Qualification
- Rifleman/ Riflewoman General Duty (for Male and Female both): 10th class pass from a recognized Board
- Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic (for Male candidate only): 10th and 12th class pass from a recognized Board
- Warrant Officer Draftmans (for Male candidate only): 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board and three years Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from any recognized Polytechnic college or Institution.
- Havildar X - Ray Assistant (for Male candidate only): 10+2 pass with diploma in Radiology from a recognised Board or University.
- Rifleman Electrician Machanic Vehicle (for Male candidate only): 10th class passed from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized Institute.
- Rifleman Vehicle Mechanic Fitter (for Male candidate only): 10th class passed with English, Mathematics and Science and Diploma/ITI certificate from recognized institute.
- Rifleman Plumber (for Male candidate only): 10th class pass from a recognised Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Plumber trade from a recognised Institute.
- Rifleman Safai (for Male candidates only): 10th class pass from a recognized Board
Salary

Service and repair transport and recovery vehicles, ensuring operational readiness. -
Upholster
Repair and maintain vehicle interiors and protective gear. -
Draughtsman

The Assam Rifles is the oldest Central Armed Police Force, administered by the Ministry of Home Affairs and operationally controlled by the Indian Army .Their key duties include:

Border Security
Guarding the 1,643 km Indo–Myanmar border to prevent infiltration and smuggling -
Counter-Insurgency & Internal Security
Conducting operations in Northeast India and parts of Jammu & Kashmir to combat insurgent elements and maintain law and order -
Community Engagement & Civil Assistance
Engaging in goodwill efforts—medical camps, education, infrastructure support in remote regions -
Support to Armed Forces
