1. Civil Services Examination (IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, etc.)

a. IAS (Indian Administrative Service)

  • Formulate and implement government policies

  • Oversee administrative functions in districts, states, or ministries

b. IPS (Indian Police Service)

2. Engineering Services Examination (IES)

  • Work in departments like Railways, CPWD, CWC, MES, etc.

  • Design, construct, and maintain public infrastructure

  • Supervise technical projects and manage resources

  • Provide expert advice on engineering policies

3. Combined Defence Services (CDS), NDA & NA

  • Join Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force as officers

  • Train in leadership, military strategy, and discipline

  • Serve in combat and peacekeeping roles

  • Manage personnel and operations in various regiments/units

4. Indian Economic Service (IES)/Indian Statistical Service (ISS)

  • Analyze economic/ statistical data for policymaking

  • Draft reports and surveys for ministries

  • Support finance, planning, and statistical departments

5. Combined Medical Services (CMS)

  • Serve as medical officers in Railways, CGHS, MCDs, etc.

  • Provide healthcare services to government employees

  • Conduct health inspections and epidemiological studies

6. CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces – Assistant Commandants)

  • Lead forces like BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB

  • Ensure border security and internal peace

  • Handle counter-insurgency and disaster response

  • Manage troop deployments and logistics
