​Qualification

• Candidate Should Posses BDS, B.Sc, MBBS, Diploma, BVSC, M.Phil/ Ph.D, MS/ MD, DMLT, MLT (Relevant fields).

​Salary

• Project Research Scientist II: Rs. 80,000/month + 20% HRA
• Project Technical Support III: Rs. 28,000/month + 20 % HRA
• Project Technical Support II: Rs. 20,000/month + 20 % HRA

1. Project-Based Research Positions (Contractual)

A. Project Nurse

• Posts & Context: Contractual positions (e.g. Project Nurse‑III) under ICMR or similar research studies

• Eligibility: B.Sc. Nursing or GNM, preferably with pediatric research experience 

• Salary: ~₹28,000–₹24,000 per month, plus 20% HRA in some projects

• Responsibilities:

  • Assist in clinical sample collection and data management

  • Coordinate with pediatric outpatients and inpatient departments

  • Maintain case report forms, consent documentation, and patient follow-ups

  • Support ethical compliance and data quality in field/lab settings

B. Project Technical Support

• Posts & Context: Varying levels (Technical Support‑III, II) across research initiatives in virology, epidemiology, info retrieval, etc.

• Eligibility:

  • Level III: Graduate + 3 yrs experience or M.Sc./M.Tech. in life sciences, biotech, clinical research 

  • Level II: 12th + Diploma + experience or graduate + 2–3 yrs experience 

• Salary: ₹20,000–₹28,000 + HRA depending on post 

• Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory sample preparation, data entry, assay execution

  • Technical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance

  • Field coordination and implementation support

  • Information retrieval for literature review and protocol updates 

C. Project Research Scientist

• Posts: Senior Scientist II/III (medical or non-medical)

• Eligibility:

  • Medical: MBBS/MD/MSc/PhD + 3 years post‑qualification experience

  • Non-medical: MSc + 5 years experience or PhD with 2 years experience 

• Salary: ₹67,000–₹93,000 + 20% HRA 

• Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and coordination of clinical research protocols

  • Analyze data and troubleshoot technical issues

  • Disseminate findings via publications and presentations

  • Supervise junior staff and ensure regulatory adherence

2. Data Entry & Support Staff

Data Entry Operator

• Vacancy: 1 post on contract 

• Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or diploma

• Salary & Selection: Not specified; selection likely via interview

• Responsibilities:

• • Input patient, lab, and research data

  • Ensure accuracy through quality checks

  • Provide support to research teams in compiling datasets

 3. Regular Faculty/Residents Recruitment

Senior Residents, Demonstrators, SMOs

• Posts: 160 across PGIMER Chandigarh and Sangrur satellite 

• Eligibility:

  • Senior Resident/SMO: MD/MS with valid registration

  • Demonstrators: M.Sc./PhD 

• Salary:

  • Senior Residents/SMO/Medical Demonstrators: Pay Level‑11 (~₹67,700 + NPA)

  • Non‑medical Demonstrators: Level‑10 (~₹56,100)
