Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
    • Identify and acquire new institutional, corporate, and HNI clients for investment banking, equity broking, and wealth management services.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure continued business growth.
  2. Market Research & Lead Generation:
    • Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
    • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, events, referrals, and digital campaigns.
  3. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly targets.
    • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to refine business development strategies.
  4. Cross-Selling of Services:
    • Promote and cross-sell a wide range of BOBCAPS services including equity research, portfolio management, wealth advisory, mutual funds, IPOs, and financial planning.
  5. Proposal Development & Presentations:
    • Prepare and present proposals, pitchbooks, and investment solutions tailored to client needs.
    • Organize client meetings, product demos, and roadshows to drive engagement.
  6. Coordination with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with research, advisory, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of client transactions.
    • Coordinate with marketing for branding and promotional initiatives.
  7. Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain CRM records and generate regular business development reports.
    • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines in all client interactions and documentation.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • MBA (Finance/Marketing) or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Prior experience (3–5 years) in sales, business development, or client acquisition in BFSI/Investment Banking/Wealth Management sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of capital markets, financial products, and regulatory landscape.
