Job Role of Nursing Apprentices:

The Nursing Apprentices are expected to assist in day-to-day nursing services and acquire hands-on clinical experience under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care Support:
   • Assist senior nursing staff in providing basic nursing care to inpatients.
   • Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report abnormalities.
   • Help with daily patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
2. Clinical Assistance:
   • Assist during minor procedures, wound dressing, and medication administration (under supervision).
   • Help in maintaining sterile techniques and infection control practices.
   • Support in preparing patients for diagnostic tests or surgical procedures.
3. Documentation & Record-Keeping:
   • Maintain nursing records and patient charts accurately as per instructions.
   • Assist in data entry related to patient care and observations.
4. Ward Management Assistance:
   • Help in organizing ward supplies, equipment, and linen management.
   • Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in the ward area.
5. Learning & Skill Development:
   • Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and clinical teachings.
   • Demonstrate eagerness to learn standard hospital practices and protocols.
6. Emergency Response:
   • Assist in emergency procedures like CPR, first-aid, and transporting patients in critical conditions.
