Qualification

Job Role Summary

  • Position: Officer – Digital Technology (Finacle Core)

  • Employment Type: 3‑year initial contract (extendable up to 5 years) 

  • Vacancies: 6 posts 

 Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements:

    • B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Communication with ≥ 60%, OR

    • MCA / M.Tech in CS/IT with ≥ 50% 

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in scheduled commercial banks, financial institutions, or IT service providers working with:

      • Finacle Core

      • Scripting and menu customization

      • Finacle Integrator

      • Oracle DBMS

      • End-of-Day / Beginning-of-Day (EOD/BOD) processes

      • Banking product modules 

 Core Responsibilities

  1. Finacle Core Support & Maintenance

    • Handle enhancements, scripting updates, and configuration/customization related to Finacle Core banking modules.

  2. Integration and Workflow Management

    • Utilize Finacle Integrator to manage end-to-end data flows (EOD/BOD), including database batch processes.

  3. Technical Troubleshooting

    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, interfacing with database (Oracle), Finacle, and peripheral systems.

  4. Module Customization

    • Tailor banking product workflows (like lending, deposits, trade finance) to meet Exim Bank's business needs.

  5. Collaboration & Documentation

    • Work cross-functionally with business users, developers, vendors to gather requirements, draft technical specs, and develop solutions.

    • Maintain documentation through the SDLC—from requirements collection to design, testing, and deployment.

  6. Production Support

    • Provide live environment support including incident resolution, performance tuning, and executing upgrades/patches.

  7. Compliance & Control

    • Adhere to regulatory guidelines and best practices for digital banking systems.

  8. Continuous Improvement

    • Recommend and implement process or automation enhancements to optimize system performance and reliability.
