• Scientific administrative assistant/ field worker Age Limit: 50 Years

​Qualification

• Doctoral degree in Science with specialization in Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics, Life Sciences or any other related field from a recognized university or equivalent; 
• Graduate degree in any discipline

Salary

• Project Scientist II: Rs 67000/+24% HRA Increment of 5 % for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review
• Scientific administrative assistant/ field worker: Rs 18000 + 24 % HRA

Project Scientist-II & Scientific Administrative Assistant (Field Worker)

• Total Posts: 2 (1 Project Scientist-II, 1 Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker) 

• Interview Date: Walk‑in on 18 August 2025 

• Qualifications:

  • Project Scientist-II: PhD in Plant Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Bioinformatics / Life Sciences or related

  • Admin Assistant/Field Worker: Graduate in any discipline 

• Age Limits:

  • Scientist-II: up to 35 yrs

  • Field Worker/Admin Assistant: up to 50 yrs 

• Pay:

  • Scientist-II: ₹67,000 + 24% HRA, with 5% increments every 2 years

  • Assistant: ₹18,000 + 24% HRA 

 Project Scientist-I & Scientific Administrative Assistant (Earlier June Application)

A previous recruitment cycle closed on 27 June 2025 with:

• Posts: Project Scientist-I (1) + Scientific Administrative Assistant (1) 

• Eligibility:

  • Scientist-I: M.Tech / PhD (Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Molecular Biology)

  • Assistant: Graduate with office/data management skills

Pay:

• • Scientist-I: ₹56,000 + 27% HRA

  • Assistant: ₹18,000 + 27% HRA 

• Age Limits: 35 yrs (Scientist-I), 50 yrs (Assistant), plus gov’t relaxations 

Research Associate-I Post (June Cycle)

• One vacancy for Research Associate-I in Delhi 

• Qualifications: PhD in Life Sciences or M.Sc with ≥60% + 4/5‑year B.Sc; experience in molecular biology/genome editing preferred 

• Age Limit: ≤ 40 yrs (men), ≤ 45 yrs (women) 

• Pay: ₹58,000 per month (consolidated) 

• Application Deadline: 18 June 2025

 Junior Research Fellow (NECTAR Project)

• One JRF post announced earlier (May 2025) 

• Qualification: Postgraduate in Botany / Plant Genetic Resources / Life Sciences etc., NET/GATE preference

• Emoluments: ₹31,000 + HRA (NET/GATE) or ₹25,000 + HRA otherwise; ₹28,000 + HRA from Year 3 

• Interview: Last week of May 2025
