Master of Science in Clothing and Textiles is a postgraduate Textile course. The wearing of clothing is exclusively a human characteristic and is a feature of most human societies. It is not known when humans began wearing clothes. Anthropologists believe that animal skins and vegetation were adapted into coverings as protection from cold, heat and rain, especially as humans migrated to new climates; alternatively, covering may have been invented first for other purposes, such as magic, decoration, cult, or prestige, and later found to be practical as well.

 Eligibility

  • A candidate who has obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science of (Textile and Clothing) from a University, or of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto, or B.Sc. (Home Economics), or B.Sc. (Agriculture with Home Science) or PG Diploma in Fashion Designing, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto will be eligible for admission to M.Sc. in Clothing and Textile.
