Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology is an undergraduate Textile Engineering course. The course deals with the application of scientific and engineering principles to the design and control of all aspects of fibre, textile, and apparel processes, products, and machinery. These include natural and man-made materials, interaction of materials with machines, safety and health, energy conservation, and waste and pollution control. Education in textile engineering usually also involves training in plant designing, wet process designing, dyeing, and printing. Program focuses on the theory and practical applications in the areas of product development, product design, product engineering, global marketing and management in wide areas of textiles practice. The duration of the course is four years and it is career originating in nature that opens many jobs for them.
